About Coweta County Court Records

Court records in Coweta County, Georgia are split among the Clerk of Superior Court, the State Court Clerk, Probate Court, Magistrate Court, municipal courts, and the Sheriff's Office. This private reference site organizes those record paths so visitors can identify the right office, portal, address, or phone number before contacting a government agency.

Why We Built This Site

Georgia gives the public broad access to many government and court records, but Coweta County record access depends on the type of file. Superior Court handles felony, divorce, equity, title-to-land, and broad civil matters. State Court handles misdemeanors, traffic cases, and State Court civil files. Probate Court is in the Historic Courthouse and handles estates, marriage licenses, vital-record copies, guardianships, conservatorships, weapons carry matters, and mental-health proceedings. Jail, recent-arrest, sheriff records, and some custody notifications follow a separate law-enforcement path.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Coweta County, any Georgia court, the Clerk of Superior Court, the State Court Clerk, Probate Court, the Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests for anyone
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document, marriage record, probate file, or vital record
  • We cannot give legal advice, interpret a pending case, or tell a person whether to appear in court
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, portal, or office hour is current at the moment you use it

Only the issuing Coweta County or Georgia government office can provide an official certified copy with a clerk seal.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the reference pages free to read. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
