How to Search Coweta County Court Records

The Tyler public search opens with a disclaimer, then offers search routes by party, associated party, or case number. The disclaimer also tells users to search spelling variants of proper names, which is useful for hyphenated names, middle initials, suffixes, and maiden names.

State Court records use a different route. The State Court Clerk handles State Court civil, misdemeanor criminal, and traffic dockets. Its Case Management Search/Copies page directs civil, criminal, and traffic docket inquiries to the Coweta State Court website. Traffic citations may also move through the Traffic Violations Bureau and Pay Your Tix, but those are citation channels rather than full Superior Court case records.

1. Identify the court type before searching. Felony, divorce, broad civil, equity, and title-to-land matters generally belong in Superior Court.
2. Use Tyler CM Web Search for Superior Court public case lookup, then search by party name, associated party, or case number.
3. Use the State Court search route for Coweta State Court civil, misdemeanor, traffic, and citation matters.
4. Search name variants, including middle names, initials, prior names, suffixes, and alternate spellings.

Coweta County Court Records Search Fields

What Coweta County Court Records Show

A Coweta County court record usually combines a docket with case details. The docket is the chronological event list. Mental-health matters in Probate Court, protected identifiers, financial-account data, minor information, and sealed filings may be withheld or redacted under exemption rules.

Older Coweta County Court Records
